Why I am here?  While watching the programmes on NDTV 24/7 and NDTV profit I wanted to associate myself to these channels, which emulate quality. I know I have to unlearn many things, refine my understanding, and sharpen my skill to present issues in a lucid and interesting manner. Why I am here? Why I am here is a strange question? The answer is simple, to pursue my long, cherished dream of Journalism. After so many years of studying and cribbing about it, it was not easy to take this decision. Learning the nitty-gritties of broadcast journalism, handling camera, lighting, and watching documentaries with so much passion, creating an entire story package on our own, were all new to me. As days went past in office, things started becoming more lucid and more interesting.

Why I am here?  I joined NDTV because it is a great organization for learning under famous media personalities. My raw materials were ideas. In NDTVMI I learnt and started being creative, and I had the freedom to pursue my own ideas. I met interesting people. Not just the famous people, but also unknown people with a compelling story to tell. I also travelled and saw a few places I would have never venture don my own.

Why I am here?  What we were told was a programme, I saw as an opportunity. Think broadcast and the first channel comes to mind is NDTV. And I knew, the day this opportunity was given to me, that this is where I wanted to be. When i see the myraid of branches the network has under it, I know it is not just current affairs, business or entertainment that they handle, but they also cater to a niche audience which is keen to watch lifestyle programming. And this is where my interest lay. The feeling of oneness is imbibed in all and NDTV brings life to a full circle.
