Name: Aditi Awasthi Location:New Delhi Education:BA (Economics) honors, Delhi University Links: Why I am here?  As every 21 year old, even I have my share of dreams and ambitions. An economist by degree, a job in the corporate world was taken for granted. But being an athlete by passion, predictability was never the name of my game...so here I am sprinting on a different track of my life!!!! Keep running guys...if you want to come second!

Name: Akanksha Chandra Location:Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh Education:M.Sc. in Molecular and Human Genetics Links: Why I am here? When we invented wheels we thought this was the best, and then we discovered its multiple uses. Since then we have improved consistently, now wheels can fly. I did my M.Sc. in Molecular and Human Genetics and discovered that its applications are immense. I wanted to use my science beyond the realms of my lab and bring it out for everyone to know and benefit from. After two years of complaining that media ignored Science, I joined NDTV to try bringing the change I wanted to see. I decided to apply my knowledge and learn to fly. Now I have two wings and trying to strike a balance. On one side I have my knowledge in science the other is my new learning which is being mentored by NDTV faculties. I dream to fly and fly high.

Name: Anam Naqvi Location: Bangalore, Karnataka Education:B.A Journalism, Psychology and Literature Links: http://anamnaqvi.blogspot.com/ Why I am here?  I have three dream jobs, one be where Sonali Chander is (Sports desk), two become a food critic, and three join the Al Jazeera channel. All this stems from a graduation in Psychology, English Literature and Journalism. I am a sports enthusiast, a gourmet and Middle East and international politics interest me. And the trait I am most proud of curiosity, a journalistic quality. Another dream was NDTV. So there that’s why I am here. After coming here now I have a few other dream jobs, I love editing, I am also interested in the camera, I have also learnt I can write better and that I can do a lot more than focus on 3 dream jobs. If I don’t get them hey, there’s always something else ill love to do. Joining this course has thought me that.

Name: Arjun Singh Devgan Location:New Delhi Education:B.A in Psychology, English Literature and Journalism from Christ University Links: Why I am here?   A journalist is someone I always wanted to be. Their immaculate sense of style, great language skills and the way they presented themselves blew my mind away. I did my P.U in Christ College and also graduated from Christ University in Psychology, English Literature and Journalism. I was always interested in Sports and World Cinema so when i saw the ad i just jumped at the opportunity, as i saw it as an avenue to learn and express my skills.

Name:Arun Shankar Location:New Delhi Education:M.A in Political Scince Links: Why I am here?   I realized, when I was graduating that I have a strong inclination towards news, general knowledge and writing. I wanted to do Journalism after my B.A, but I thought for me to be a journalist I needed to mature in terms of knowledge. So I did my M.A. When I completed my Masters, I saw a good opportunity for my career in the field of Journalism with the NDTV MI training program. I want to be a part of Broadcast Journalism, I am looking forward to establish myself as a good and honest Television Journalist.

Name: Danuska D'gama Location:Saligaon, Goa Education:BBA Links: Why I am here?   Becoming a journalist can be a fun and rewarding job, but getting that job starts with a good education and a desire to work hard. I had two and a half years experience but not sufficient knowledge to climb up the media ladder. Therefore I thought who better to learn from than the news pioneers in India and that's how I'm here enjoying myself at NDTV Media Institute.

Name: Jaideep Chakrabarty Location:Kolkata, West Bengal Education: B.E in Chemical Engineering Links: http://jaids.blogspot.com/ Why I am here?   Why am I here??? A big question...... I am an "ordinary" guy with a few "extra ordinary" actions. How???? A wannabe cricketer landed up doing science, sat for JEE, garnered a rank as big as a mobile number, somehow scrapped through chemical engineering.....worked his way to an IT job and now is up for a stint in television! Bizarre....... But hey guys it has been fun..... And I hope it continues!!!
