Why I am here? I am 21 years old from Udaipur, Rajasthan. I did my schooling from mayo college girls school Ajmer and B.A in economics from Symbiosis College of arts and commerce, Pune. I saw the advertisement of NDTV broadcast training in a newspaper. By this time I was accustomed to writing M.B.A entrance exams I was just following the trend of my family I was not really interested in doing MBA at all. When I saw the ad I thought I would give it a try , see what it is. I have a flair for talking and making the atmosphere lively and fun. I love doing that so I thought I should enjoy learning something that involves talking, and I saw that opportunity here.

Why I am here? I had decided that I wanted to be a journalist when I was only 14 years old but I was not really sure of the medium that I wanted to report for. Before joining this course, I was working as a business correspondent with a business news website. However, the online medium could not hold my interest for very long. 10 months into the job and I was bored already. I did not deviate from my childhood dream but this time I was absolutely sure of the medium- I knew that it had to be television because it is the most powerful of all media. After all, seeing is believing.

Why I am here? After graduation I was very confused about what to do. However somewhere back in my head I knew I wanted to be a journalist. Then I got married and got absorbed in a world of my own but gradually I realised that this is not the only thing that I want to do. One day I got to know about this programme and I took up the opportunity without a second thought. The best part was that it was NDTV. I knew I was training with the best. And here I am today... Living my dream!

Why I am here? I am a fresher without any work experience and with absolutely no interest in pursuing a career in finance (I only did it because my parents wanted me to do it). I love playing video games and always wanted to make a career related to gaming. I watch a few gaming shows online and want to do something similar in India. Gadget Guru on NDTV has a section on gaming. I love gadgets as well and saw this course as a foot in the door opportunity to get into the show. This course has not only bought me closer to my passion but, I have discovered that I am interested in the functioning and working of the PCR (Production Control Room.).

Why I am here? When I was in fifth standard I wanted to be batman, but as I grew up my dreams became more realistic. However a different kind of conflict arose, my parents wanted me to be an architect and I was always inclined to do something else. I wanted to do anthropology but ended up doing literature...then there was a stage when I was completely clueless, but life had something in store for me and I ended up in NDTVMI. I don't know how much I changed as a human being since I joined NDTVM, but the course definitely gave me a scope to think differently. It gave me courage to realize if you really want, dreams that seem faraway can come to reality.

Why I am here? Life was easy when I was working as a voice and accent trainer with a reputed MNC. It was during this time when I acquired a passion for communication. But, my work became monotonous and as an aspiring individual I sought change. However I wished to stay within communication but to pursue it in a way where I can contribute to the better causes of the society. Brand NDTV always caught my fancy.
