Why I am here? My extended family of engineers and doctors thought it was odd for me to get into Journalism. But that is me, I like being different. The journalism bug was in me from class 7. By class 10 my first news report was published in a newspaper. There is a story of how I escaped from doing medicine. I am a graduate in Mass-Communication. I have done internships in AIR, Aaj Tak and worked as a trainee crime reporter in a newspaper during college. After college I worked for almost a year in Indo Asian News Agency as a sub and also a reporter. To take my career to the next level and explore the broadcast media I enrolled for the NDTVMI course.

Why I am here? I am here to reach newer depths in what I have already captured. I am here to be a science journalist.It kind of makes you feel small when you realize, all you could do with your quota of grey cells that you allow some to go to waste. I just keep capturing images, essences and impressions in my brain and still trying to fit things in their right places.

Why I am here? I always wanted to be a part of NDTV. I got my first chance to be in this institution in 2008 when I did my internship with NDTV Metronation. During my final semester I came across the website of NDTVMI and decided to come and join this course. The reasons were simple; to practice ethical and developmental journalism that makes a difference to society. The roller-coaster ride started in July 2009 in which I saw the rise, fall and the ultimate development to a focused and confident journalist. A typical couch potato, I was lazy and believed that French fries and coke have got legs to travel towards my mouth, coming to NDTVMI I was shaken up thoroughly and the training helped me understand my strengths and weakness better.
